Sarah Swan

Sarah studied interior design in the Dublin Institute of Design, and Art History and Italian in University College Dublin. Sarah loves Italy and travelled there with her studies in art history. Sarah has worked in fashion meccas such as London and Parish and has spent time with world renowned Interior architect Miguel Cancio Martins. Sarah has always followed her own taste. Her style is authentic and grounded in good quality cuts and beautiful natural fabrics, with prints that inspire. Sarah Swan is a spirited and soulful brand: her scarves are seasonless, a collectable keepsake that can be worn all year round

All Sarahs’ scarves are digitally printed on the banks of Lake Como.

As well as being a breathtakingly beautiful city and celebrity playground on the Italian lake of the same name, Como has historically been the heart of the Italian silk industry.

This is no coincidence, as Bianca Passera, president of the Museo della Seta di Como (Como silk museum), explains, "Water is essential to the entire process of silk manufacturing.

Lake Como is a freshwater lake with an extremely low lime content, satisfying the ideal requirements for manufacturing high-quality silk."
