Sarah’s brand ethos is to carefully design and manufacturer luxury limited edition scarves ethically and sustainably using exceptional quality fabrics and print technique. All designs are Sarahs’ own and tell a unique story.

Sarah’s choice of fabrics and to manufacture in Italy is a deliberate one. Modal which is a rayon made from beech trees is her fabric choice. It blends with natural fabrics such as cashmere or silk or cotton. It too is the fabric choice of many Italian high fashion couture brands.

It is a unique fabric as it is super soft and it is really great for print as it holds the prints brilliance and vibrancy. A fabric with exceptional elegance because of it’s soft and smooth falling. It’s almost like a second skin.

Scarf Designer’s Swan Song Collection is Out of Africa

Swan Song, the latest new Autumn Winter scarves collection from Sarah Swan Dublin, is on sale now.

Inspired by the designer’s time at Leopardsong, a beautiful game reserve outside of Johannesburg, the Swan Song collection features striking images of plains wildlife captured in their natural habitat through Sarah Swan’s own lens.

The super-fine digitally-printed oversized scarves are produced in Italy in limited-edition small quantities from the Irish designer’s original photography.

There are seven new designs capturing spectacular wildlife including zebra and lions, elephants, antelope and kudu that are, in equal parts, majestic and timorous in the beauty of the natural plains setting.

Golden South African dusk and sunsets, the shimmering heat of the day, and a recent bushfire that lent a misty ashen hue to the photographic images, make for a unique colour palate and distinctive designs.
