New Interior Design Project
Brief - The lobby is a property development company and the brief is to create a warm welcome to clients.
Inspiration
I was inspired by the Gleneagles lobby by David Collins Studio and the use of dark timber alongside jade greens, black and white. I also like the use of natural marble in the side table.
I wanted to create a timeless earthen approach to my design. A nod to the Irish landscape and Mother Nature. I used earth tones with emerald greens and teal greens alongside the jade green. I also used gold in the logo on the meeting room walls.
As the company is a property development company I also wanted to incorporate maps and antiquarian maps. It gives a timeless Irish heritage approach to the design.
Accents of gold and rust are also used with soft furnishings in velvet. Circular and oval meeting tables are also incorporated as it creates a better flow of energy chi and creativity than hard corners rectangular meeting tables.
